Carina is currently the historical bass professor at the Royal College of Music, London and baroque bass professor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
She loves working with young people and has a number of younger students who are currently members of the National Youth Orchestra of GB. Seeing young musicians enthusiasm grow not only for the double bass but for music making in general is a source of inspiration.
She has been involved with a number of education programmes with London based orchestras and has mentored young bass players through the charity Future Talent as well as tutoring in sessions with the Benedetti Foundation.
